Dwight Wood, a master printer, whose works are featured in collections around the world, was a founding member of the Phoenix Art Press and later, the founder of Zuma Studios.
Wood founded and owns Shakti Studios. Wood's artistic creations, as has been the case for almost twenty years, continues to be featured in numerous international and national solo and group exhibitions.
Wood's work is in collections across America, Europe and Asia. His commissions include works for AT&T, Embassy Suites, Double Tree Resorts, Trans America, Bank of America among scores of other private and corporate collections. Also, his work had been reproduced in posters, and limited editions by top publishers around the country.
Wood works in multiple media: large murals, limited edition mono-prints form 3-3000, painting on large and small scale on canvas and paper and sculpture. Wood has been invited to teach and lecture on the art of printmaking at colleges and workshops across the country.
Dwight Wood continues to be an innovator in the world of mixed media, printmaking and painting.
